Partridge Field Note: Margaret is a small original from Loretta Kennedy’s partridge series, combining expressive color, drawing, and layered mixed media on a wood panel.

Named for Margaret Chase Smith of Skowhegan, Maine, the first woman elected to both houses of Congress. During her long public career, she also worked to establish permanent status for women serving in the U.S. military.
