Partridge Field Note: Frances is a small original from Loretta Kennedy’s partridge series, combining expressive color, drawing, and layered mixed media on a wood panel.

Named for Frances Perkins, whose family roots were in Newcastle, Maine. She became the first woman to serve in a U.S. presidential cabinet and spent much of her career working on labor reform, workplace safety, and workers’ rights.
