Three vases, three personalities, and not much interest in keeping the flowers contained.

Part of my Outgrowing series, this small mixed-media painting layers loose purple and orange flowers over three individually patterned vessels. Rice-paper collage, acrylic and charcoal build texture across the vases while the flowers push beyond them in every direction.
